WhatsApp leaks data 5.4 million Dutch people
A hacker offers a database with 487 million WhatsApp numbers on the internet. The website Cybernews has done further research and checked some of the numbers. All numbers indeed turned out to be from a WhatsApp account.
The huge collection includes WhatsApp numbers from different countries. For example, most of the data (45 million numbers) comes from Egypt. Italy is in second place with 35 million data, in addition, 32 million WhatsApp data of Americans have been leaked. The Netherlands (5.4 million data) and Belgium (3.1 million data) are much lower on the list.
The hacker says he “used his own ways” to get the data. The WhatsApp data is for sale on a popular hacker forum. For example, he wants to see $ 7000 for the American numbers.
