WhatsApp has a handy new button
The WhatsApp messaging service has a handy new button that makes it easier for you to participate in conversations.
Quite frankly, the messaging service was a bit behind with group conversations. This became clear during the corona pandemic. Many people started using group conversations because of working from home. But this function is also very useful for keeping in touch with your friends and family. This was quickly picked up by WhatsApp and now they are taking another step in further development.
Handy WhatsApp button
WhatsApp’s new button lets you join conversations directly from the group. You no longer have to go to the call menu first. The company has introduced many associated features, including increasing the limit to eight people.
Now the company has rolled out a new button directly in the group chat that lets you join ongoing conversations. The company said the feature is “a new spontaneous way to connect with their groups of family and friends.”
Shareable conversations
WhatsApp rolled out shareable conversations in July. However, you had to go to the call menu to see pending calls. This new button makes it easy to join a group and join a conversation. To indicate the ongoing conversation of a group, you can see a small icon on the group view in the chat window.
The app also features a new, clear “light” group call ringtone, which allows you to recognize a WhatsApp call even when your phone isn’t in your hand.
