Samsung Galaxy Note 20 receives August security update

South Korean giant Samsung released an August security patch for the still very popular Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series. About a week ago, it received models intended for the American market. Now it also reaches facilities from other countries around the world. Information on the Internet was published by the web portal SamMobile.

The update is slowly but surely approaching the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra update were first received in countries such as Panama and Paraguay. The new firmware designation is N98xFXXS3DUG9. The August fixes include up to 40 resolved vulnerabilities in the system that affected user privacy. In addition, it is possible to count on fixes for various errors in the system, which you did not even have to notice after all.

The overall stability of the Android operating system, covered under the One UI graphical extension, has also been improved. Do not expect new additional features in this update. If you have not yet been notified of the availability of the August update, you can check its availability manually in the phone settings. Just go to the software updates section. If you are one of the more advanced, manual installation is also a solution. You can download the latest firmware from the official SamMobile portal website.

The competition also takes care of the updates. However, Samsung updates its devices most regularly. This is evidenced by the recent update for the Samsung Galaxy A71 in the 5G version. We mention that the update to Android 11 was recently received by Nokia 5.3. The recently introduced OnePlus Nord 2 5G smartphone then receives a new version of OxygenOS.
