What other cryptos does Musk have besides Bitcoin?
Elon Musk has not only Bitcoins, but also other cryptos. We know which.
We all know that Elon Musk is a big proponent of digital coins. But which coins did he personally buy? And what coins have his companies purchased? Because he has a lot of influence on that too.
Elon Musk’s cryptos, alongside Bitcoin
Musk currently owns shares in many companies. Some he founded, in others he invested. The two largest and best known of these are SpaceX and Tesla. He personally owns Bitcoin, Ethereum and Dogecoin. His companies currently only own Bitcoin. He also said Bitcoin’s energy consumption is “moving much more towards renewables,” and Tesla is likely to resume the cryptocurrency after doing more due diligence. That’s a fancy word for research.
This is what he said this week at the Bitcoin event “B Word”. This event featured a live discussion with Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, Jack Dorsey, CEO of Square and Twitter, and Cathie Wood, CEO of Ark Invest. The discussion was moderated by Steve Lee, head of Square Crypto.
Potential of Digital Coins
In response to how he sees the future of Bitcoin, Musk began by outlining the benefits of the cryptocurrency. Tesla’s Technoking, who wore an evolution of money T-shirt during the live discussion, then said: “It has a lot of potential.” Emphasizing, “I’m not an investor,” Musk said the only major publicly traded stocks he owns are Tesla and Spacex stocks. He continued:
“I also have Bitcoin. Tesla owns Bitcoin. Spacex owns Bitcoin… And I personally own a little bit of Ethereum and Dogecoin’.
Musk
How much ‘a little’ is unknown. But Musk has deep pockets, so that little bit will be quite something. On the subject of Tesla halting Bitcoin adoption, Musk explained that the suspension was temporary. He confirmed, “We don’t sell Bitcoin, I don’t sell it personally, and Spacex doesn’t sell Bitcoin either.”
