What brand of smartphones do you like best and why?
Smartphones are changing. Year after year, we look forward to new models from all major and lesser-known brands. But which one is the most sympathetic to users and why? We are currently looking for an answer to this question. First we found out which manufacturer is a favorite in our newsroom.
Our tip
OnePlus will work more closely with the parent company Oppo
Tomáš Kanálik:
So far, more smartphones have been replaced than fingers on both hands, and each has been a different brand. Since I also test the devices regularly, I dare say that I have a lot of experience. My favorites in the lower price category are Xiaomi and Motorola. However, I would get the flagship from Samsung or Huawei.
OnePlus is then my next favorite, because of the great superstructure. I currently own the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra and I plan to keep this phone for a really long time, because it has practically everything I want. Even what I don’t even need, but it may be useful in the future. The most important thing for me are the cameras and flagships from these companies that meet my requirements.
Miroslav Schwamberg:
I change smartphones very often and since a lot has passed through my hands, it is quite questionable which manufacturer does everything I need. I like the portfolio of the Chinese giant Huawei the most.
Phones with the logo of this manufacturer are characterized by a high-quality set of cameras, super battery life with very fast charging and a very nice design. Too bad the absence of Google services. I’ve been a big fan of Samsung lately. Most of my models enjoy quick updates with a guarantee of regularity for several years in advance.
Milan Mensik:
My favorite manufacturer of samrtphones is without a doubt Samsung. I like the Samsung Galaxy Note model line. I can’t praise the integration of the S Pen stylus. Combined with quality hardware and the least number of compromises, these are excellent devices with many features and great ergonomics, also thanks to the tuned One UI system. I still use the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.
Denis Džula:
I really like the trio of Chinese manufacturers Xiaomi, OnePlus and Realme. On Xiaomi, I love MIUI and their great access to updates, users themselves, and the community itself. I myself own the Xiaomi Mi 9 smartphone. For a low price, they simply offer a lot.
In the case of OnePlus, I like the OxygenOS superstructure, especially its trifles and surprises, which it offers and thanks to which it differs from the competition. Finally, Realme also has interesting devices that combine premium features (90 or 120 Hz, fast charging, super zoom, etc.) with a low price. They are the most innovative in their designs and their phones really stand out.
Zdenka Smalecová:
OnePlus is the best for me, other brands come to me as if they all have the same strategy. They use cheap marketing tricks, they overtake themselves in “gimmicks”, they don’t feel any deeper quality from their products and they go for quantity. With OnePlus, on the other hand, you can feel that they have values elsewhere. I also like Xiaomi, thanks to the great ratio of parameters and price or a tuned system with regular updates.
Jakub Marcin:
Samsung and Xiaomi are clearly in the first place for me. At Samsung, I especially like the habit of putting AMOLED displays into cheaper models and the overall impression of the appearance of its devices. I also like Samsung phones mainly because of their photographic potential, as post-processing is really at an excellent level there.
Xiaomi, on the other hand, fascinated me especially with price tags, where you can get respectable specifications for a few hundred euros. However, I don’t like the MIUI superstructure. At Xiaomi, I liked the Android One project again, thanks to which I decided for the Xiaomi Mi A1 in the past. Of the other manufacturers, OnePlus is one of the first three most popular, attracting attention with its processing, parameters and almost pure Android with various customization options.
