What are our favorite mid-range cars?
The term mid-range is used to categorize the major differences between vehicles. It is often thought that a car in the middle class is an average car. Yet this is not true. This is because cars in the middle class are larger and more expensive than the ‘average car’, also known as the C-segment. To avoid this confusion, the European Commission and rental companies also refer to the middle class as the D-segment.

What are the features of a mid-range car?
From mini class, to compact middle class, middle class, upper middle class and top class. It sounds like a logical categorization. Yet the properties of each segment are not obvious. There is no official description for the middle class or the D segment. However, there are a number of features of these cars to mention.
For example, the price of a vehicle in the middle class is on average between 20,000 and 40,000 euros. This concerns the amount for a new car. The D-segment is also doing well on the used car market. Especially as a family car and company or lease car, the popularity is great. The strong vehicles in this class are made for long distances and to tow a trailer or caravan, for example.
