The series Wednesday at Vox is history. The broadcaster would like to make room for other formats in September. Above all, reports and documentaries such as “On the Trail of Love Scammers” with Ilka Bessin are intended to lure viewers in front of the television. A new round of talks is also coming.

Vox on Wednesday: reports instead of series

So far, anyone who switches on Vox on Wednesdays has mainly been presented with fictional formats that come from RTL +’s own house. With series like “Meiberger – In the head of the perpetrator”, “Toni’s world” or “Friedmanns Vier” one has apparently not achieved the desired success. The market share in the relevant target group is in the single digits, only the film “Because we champions are” was able to persuade more viewers to tune in.

At the end of September, Vox reorients around and brings other formats on Wednesdays. Reports and documentaries are the focus from September 28th. It starts with “On the Trail of Love Scammers” with Ilka Bessin, who herself has become a victim of romance scammers. The stand-up comedian formerly known as Cindy von Marzahn meets those affected and tries to track down the perpetrators. The format is produced by RTL Studios.

Immediately after the report it goes with a Talk round as a Vox special further. Ilka Bessin moderates and talks to a police officer and an IT expert on identity theft, among others, about romance scamming (source: DWDL).

There are many streaming offers, but how do they differ?
