‘We really have a dream baby’
Wonderful news for Marieke Elsinga and her boyfriend Sander: the two have become parents of their first child. The radio DJ will announce this on Tuesday at Qmusic, with her colleague Mattie Valk.
‘He’s there! Our son: Jip. His middle name is Einte, after my father,” Marieke writes on Instagram, with a photo with her son. Marieke and Sander first enjoyed it in silence, because the boy was born on November 9 at 6.11 am. “Sander and I can’t stop looking at him, cuddling him and smelling him.”
Dream baby
Given the time of Jip’s birth, the proud mother jokes on Qmusic that her son was born in the morning show, her regular place on the radio. She also says that everything is going “very well”. “We really have a dream baby, it really is. It’s so bizarre. It’s really super nice. He drinks super well, I can breastfeed. He sleeps well.” She did get a portion of maternity tears for her choosing on Monday evening. “So it was day six and I was crying like crazy last night.” Very lucky, said the radio DJ. The delivery went well, although she is also honest: “It just hurts. But it’s such a force of nature. It is a very special experience.”
