We present the VUB Mobil Banking application in the Huawei AppGallery store

For the sixth year in a row, the Smart banka survey once again brings a nationwide competition for the best banking applications in Slovakia. You can vote for your favorite banking applications from 19 January to 15 March 2021.

As part of the survey, we are preparing a series of articles that are intended to introduce readers to the individual functionalities of Slovak banking applications, on the basis of which you can decide which of them you will vote for. The Huawei AppGallery store also contains applications from all important Slovak banks. In this article, we will introduce the application in more detail VÚB Mobil Banking.

Introduction of the application

Thanks to the VUB Mobil Banking application, you have complete management of your finances and secure access to a number of services under your thumb, thanks to which you no longer have to go to a branch. You can customize the application to your liking and it keeps it clear and intuitive.

Its most popular features include withdrawal from a mobile ATM, postal voucher scanner, IBAN and QR code, or payment sharing. It is also possible to log in to the application using biometrics, which is used by approximately 30% of clients.

Why did you decide to publish your application in the Huawei AppGallery?

The goal was to make the application available to as many of our clients as possible, as the number of Huawei devices on the market is constantly increasing.

What is the difference between publishing applications and communicating with Huawei compared to Google?

Since Huawei AppGallery is a separate application store, the application is published separately and in this it is identical to Google Play and AppStore. Approval usually takes place on the same day as on Google Play.

How is the app in the AppGallery different from the one in Google Play?

Our VUB Mobil Banking application is exactly the same for all application stores.
