iPhone SE 4 rumours: Here’s what we know so far…
The iPhone SE 2022 has now been out for a year, but there are already many rumors about the possible successor. The iPhone SE 4, according to these rumors, will more or less be a modified 6.1-inch iPhone 14, with the look of the iPhone XR. With that, the new iPhone SE 4 could finally get Face ID.
The rumors also say that the new budget iPhone will receive a 5G chip from Apple. Which chip the iPhone SE 4 will get exactly is still unknown. The iPhone SE 2022 got the same chip as the iPhone 13 (the A15 chip). That is why you can almost assume that the iPhone SE 4 will also get a very fast chip.
Still, the usually well-informed Ross Young believes that the final look of the iPhone SE 4 is not at all certain. According to him, Apple has not yet decided what kind of screen they want to use for the iPhone SE 4.
He believes that Apple is still considering different types of screens. There are two manufacturers of a 6.1-inch display (OLED) that Apple still has in its sights. In addition, two other LCD panel manufacturers (5.7″ to 6.1″) are being considered.

According to the generally reliable analyst Jeff Pu, the iPhone SE 4 has been delayed, but the budget iPhone is still coming. He thinks that the iPhone SE 4 will not appear until 2025.
Yet another well-known Apple analyst (Ming-Chi Kuo) disagrees. The iPhone SE 4 is also rumored to get 5G, and Kuo says mass production of the necessary hardware won’t begin until 2025. According to him, the prototype iPhone SE used by Apple to test the 5G hardware is not intended to be released at all.
In the end, the Apple connoisseurs are also doubting whether Apple really plans to release the iPhone SE 4. There is therefore nothing to do but wait a little longer.
