He was the southern European boy who rented out the cots on the beach and cleaned up for the local disco in the evenings. He decorated me and I fell for his charms.

In bed he turned out to be a wonderfully generous lover. I was used to Dutch guys who finished in three minutes, Fabrizio only kept a foreplay of an hour. I fell more in love with him by the day, but had instilled in myself that it would be purely a holiday flirt. Fabrizio would probably have a different cutie every week in the summer.

The opposite turned out to be true. He was also moved to tears at the farewell and came to Amsterdam four weeks later. We have now been together for 21 years and are proud parents of four children.”
