We Are Football: insert original data via database mod

Football manager developer legend Gerald Köhler (kick-off, football manager) is back with We Are Football. However, you have to do without licenses for all leagues and players. Here we show you how you can still integrate the original data into the game thanks to the database mod.

Unfortunately, We Are Football only contains licenses for the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga with real player and club names. In foreign leagues, you have to make do with invented names instead.

The hard-working fans of the site FM-Zocker.net however, they will help here shortly after the release of We Are Football. Here you can download a megapatch (3.2 GB) that supplies the in-game database with original data. The following button takes you to the mod page:

Installation instructions for the database mod

Have you downloaded the megapatch, you can install the mod as follows:

1. Unzip that ZIP package anywhere.
2. Performs the installation via the “We are Football.exe” out.
3. Install the patch in your We Are Football game directory. The default path is “C: Users Your Name Saved Games We Are Football”.

Then start We Are Football and start a new game. Now you should “Your database” menu item that you have to select in order to be able to play for foreign clubs with original data.

1370 clubs (men + women)
1915 sponsors (1703) + suppliers (21) + media companies (191) / Including logos and
63,738 players (46,638 men + 17,100 women)
9318 youth players (men)
Playable in 38 countries (22 countries in the basic game + 16 countries from us) / Now playable on 5 continents (Australia / Japan / China in Asia; South Africa in Africa; USA in North and Central America; Brazil in South America and several countries in Europe)
