War Thunder gamer shares classified military data AGAIN
It hits the War Thunder forum for the third time, as a fan of the game has leaked classified military documents again!
Some communities are more committed than others, but in the game world there is one absolute ruler: War Thunder fans. The tank game forum has now shared classified military data for the third time. Worst of all, the leaker in question misunderstood the situation! Risk of being convicted of treason for nothing…
War Thunder fans and the classified military data
War Thunder is a tank simulator where the developer puts a lot of real details into it. The game should simulate as realistically as possible how old-fashioned and modern tanks fight each other. So is the Chinese DTC10-125 anti-tank missile.
But a slightly over-enthusiastic fan was not satisfied with the specific bullet’s stats. In a response to a meanwhile deleted forum post on the War Thunder forum, he therefore shared unambiguous photos; a part of the actual bullet and a classified Chinese document with details about the weapon!
Worst of all, one forum user details, is that developer Gaijin Entertainment is very open about the fact that additions to the game work with placeholders in the first place. In other words, the data the leaker shared is a response to temporary statistics.
Military data shared again
The icing on the cake of this absurd story? This is the third time classified data has been shared on the War Thunder forum. Fans of the game are so committed to realism that secret details have been shared twice before.
Gaijin is very clear about these incidents: no classified documents are allowed to be shared on the forum!
