Vivo Y31s, the first phone powered by Snapdragon 480

Last week, Qualcomm announced a new Snapdragon 480 chipset. The new chipset denies dogma, a cheap phone can’t support 5G. The new chipset, but it’s not just about 5G networks, it can do much more. Supports WI-FI 6 and is twice as powerful as the previous generation. It is used for the first time in this series of chipsets 8nm process and also got to support the new generation Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+.The Vivo Y31s powered by the new Snapdragon 480 is the first fully phone to include this chipset.

The phone is equipped with a 6.58-inch IPS LCD display with FHD + resolution and refresh rate 90 Hz. On the back of the Vivo Y31s is 13MP main camera and 2MP depth sensor with LED flash. The front is complemented by an 8 MP camera. The phone will be off the Qualcomm chipset on sale with 4 or 6GB RAM a 128 GB storage. The Vivo Y31s battery will be about the size 5 000 mAh and will support 18W charging. The version of 4GB RAM with 128 GB of storage sells for 1,498 CNY (CZK 4,986), while the 6GB RAM model with 128 GB costs 1,698 CNY (CZK 5,652). The Vivo Y31s powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 chipset with 5G network is now available on the Chinese market.
