Vivo brings three smartphones to the Dutch market
A new telephone provider is entering the Dutch market. Namely vivo and they immediately bring three smartphones to our country.
Today the company announced that it is coming to the Netherlands. As of July 27, there will be three different vivo smartphones that we can buy. The prices are between 219 euros and 1099 euros.
Vivo smartphones
The company is not an unknown player in the smartphone market. It is a Chinese manufacturer with more than 400 million users. We know them mainly because of a few firsts that they have to their name. Think, for example, of the first fingerprint scanner in the screen.
The company has not been around for very long, since 2009. It was founded by Shen Wei in China and has grown rapidly since then. It now operates in about 100 countries. These are many Asian countries, such as India, Malaysia and Thailand. Now vivo is also coming to the Netherlands. Belgium will soon follow. Vivo, along with Realme, is one of the fastest growing brands in Europe.
The Netherlands
Vivo itself says it is proud of the step-by-step approach with which the company is entering new markets. A strategy that has proved successful with 11 years of experience in the smartphone business. In the past two years, since its launch in Europe, the vivo team in these markets has grown to more than 200 local experts.
“We are now looking forward to showing the distinctive vivo approach to Dutch media and consumers. Since the launch of vivo in Europe in October 2020, we have steadily grown to sales in 22 European countries and have already received many positive responses to vivo smartphones. We are very much looking forward to making consumers and partners happy with our products in the Netherlands as well, while sticking to the philosophy; doing the right thing, and doing it right,” says Angus, CEO of vivo Netherlands.
