Samsung is going in depth together with Nat Geo Traveler India as a promotional stunt. Through a Galaxy S21 Ultra (in a waterproof case), a diver takes us into the world of tiger sharks. Galaxy S21 Ultra to the tiger sharks

For the video, Nat Geo’s Malaika Vaz takes the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra to the Maldives. The archipelago south of India has beautiful waters and coral reefs. The tiger shark is also common and Samsung’s video puts the predator in the spotlight. The tiger shark is said to be in danger of extinction.

The beast is said to be incredibly gentle and relatively harmless, according to Vaz. In fact, the tiger shark is one of the most dangerous shark species for humans. Shark attacks, on the other hand, are rare; a shark attacks a human several dozen times a year. That is largely not a fatal collision. The video therefore tries to emphasize the importance of the endangered animal.

In addition to the animal, people in the comments of the video mainly pay attention to the case for the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, which prevents the device from going to the tiger sharks. After all, the S21 Ultra only has an IP68 rating, or water resistant up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. That applies to freshwater, not seawater. In fact, the smartphone might survive for a while, but the case takes away all concerns.
