Do not update to iOS 16.3.1 if you use Google Photos
Usually you should always install an update for your iPhone as soon as possible. Still, with iOS 16.3.1 it is wiser to wait a while when you use certain apps.
The most recent update for the iPhone causes problems with the Google Photos app. In fact, users on Twitter are complaining that the app no longer works at all after installing the iPhone update.
The strange thing is that not everyone has problems with Google Photos on iPhone. Some users who have installed the iOS update can still use the app.
We tested it ourselves. After installing iOS 16.3.1. the Google Photos app does indeed no longer work on our iPhone 14 Pro Max. So if you use the Google Photos app a lot on your iPhone, it’s better to wait for the update.
