In the recent beta for Diablo 4, fans could get an impression of the story and leveling phase. However, many important questions remained unanswered. A new video finally provides answers to the extensive endgame content.

diablo 4

The open beta at the end of March has fueled anticipation for Diablo 4, but there has also been some criticism. This included the endgame in particular, because as soon as you reached level 25 in the beta, there was not much more to do than grind the same dungeons over and over again. Is this what Diablo 4’s endgame looks like?

New video introduces rich endgame content

Of course, Diablo 4 has a lot more to offer than that, but the important thing is that most activities are only unlocked after the story campaign. Once you’ve reached level 50 and completed the story, you’ll have to prove your skills in a final dungeon. If you have mastered this, you unlock the next world level and with it also greater challenges, better loot and new activities.

You can see an overview of all endgame content in the latest video:

Specifically, the following features are discussed:

  • paragon system: After level 50, you will no longer receive skill points, but instead distribute Paragon points to fine-tune your build down to the last detail. The Paragon system in Diablo 4 is much more complex than in Diablo 3.
  • aspects: For completing certain dungeons, you will receive aspects that are collected in your codex of power. You can use it to enchant found items and give them legendary abilities.
  • nightmare dungeons: You can re-enter dungeons you have already completed using Nightmare Seals and measure yourself against even stronger opponents and additional challenges.
  • Helltide areas: Similar to the terrorized areas in Diablo 2, random areas in Diablo 4 are overrun by the forces of hell. Great challenges and rewards await you there.
  • The Whispering Tree: Here you get bounties, for the completion of which you get death whispers. You can then exchange it for equipment.
  • fields of hatred: PvP friends can compete in the Fields of Hatred for Purified Shards, which can be exchanged for cosmetic rewards, among other things.
