Unlock LAPA & all Halloween rewards

The new Halloween event “Haunted …” has started in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and CoD Warzone. Here you can get cosmetic items and unlock the new LAPA submachine gun. In the following we will show you how to master the challenges.

Unlock LAPA – that’s how it works

The new submachine gun You can activate LAPA in two different ways:

• Complete all challenges in CoD Warzone
• Complete all objectives in CoD Black Ops Cold War

Important: Both paths each have 9 challenges to unlock the weapon, but you only have to complete one of the two sets. This means you either have to complete all quests in Warzone or all challenges in Cold War.

CoD Cold War: All challenges & rewards for the Halloween event

The challenges in CoD Black Ops Cold War amount to multiplayer and zombie mode, they look like this:

• Nice hauntedness: Complete 5 multiplayer or zombie games from the “Haunted …” event list – Reward: Legendary weapon blueprint (street sweeper)
• Fatalities: Get 200 multiplayer eliminations in the “Nuketown Halloween 24/2” list or destroy pumpkin heads in zombies – Reward: Legendary watch (trick or treating)
• Nobody comes out alive: Place yourselves in the top 3 in Scream Deathmatch or be successfully evacuated at the Halloween outbreak – Reward: Legendary talisman (magic broom)
• Keep distance!: Get 30 multiplayer eliminations in Infected or take out special or elite enemies in Zombies – Reward: Legendary emblem (pumpkin head)
• The Butcher’s Price: Get 10 melee victories in multiplayer or earn 10 Butcher Medals (5 quick melee victories) in Zombies – Reward: Legendary Crosshair (Bloody Knife)
• Trick or treat: Opens 1 fear council (series of points) in multiplayer or zombie mode – Reward: Legendary sticker (slicer pumpkin)
• Who’s Afraid of Ghosts ?: Get 50 multiplayer eliminations with the ghost perk or kill enemies in Zombies under the cover of the ethereal veil – Reward: Legendary Business Card (Revenge of the Pumpkin Head)
  • Tip: If you should do it in multiplayer, it is best to combine it with the challenge “Fatalities”.
• Absolute nightmare: Get 3 kills 3 times without dying in multiplayer mode or earn Carnage Medals (10 quick kills) in Zombies – Reward: Arcade game Spider Fighter
• Play with fire: Get 5 kills from fire damage in multiplayer mode or earn fire damage multiple kill medals in zombies – Reward: Legendary talisman (molar)

After you have completed all 9 tasks, you will receive the new LAPA submachine gun as a reward. You will also receive additional XP for each completed task.

CoD Warzone: All challenges & rewards for the Halloween event

If you want to unlock the new MP LAPA in Warzone, you have to complete the following tasks:

• Raising the dead: Play 5 games in the “The Spirits of Verdansk” list – Reward: Legendary Blueprint (Charlie Sniper Rifle)
  • Important: You absolutely have to play the games to the end. If you leave a match early, you will not receive any progress.
• Over my corpse: Reach a final position among the top 10 three times with a team in the list “The Spirits of Verdansk” Reward: Legendary watch (terrifying)
• Witty: Kills 10 hostile ghosts in the “Ghosts of Verdansk” list – Reward: Legendary talisman (breathing mask)
• Life or death: Kill 10 enemy humans in the list “The Spirits of Verdansk” while you are playing an operator – Reward: Legendary Emblem (Last Call)
• Scared to death: Kill 5 hostile humans in the Ghosts of Verdansk list while playing as a ghost – Reward: Legendary crosshair (spider web)
• Boo !: Get back on board in spirit form as an operator by collecting 3 souls or executing an executioner on a human enemy in a standing, crouching or lying position – Reward: Legendary Sticker (Murderous Mime)
• Evil is powerless here: Use 3 places with holy ground in the list “The Spirits of Verdansk” to lower your fear – Reward: Legendary business card (underworld)
  • Tip: On the map you can recognize a sacred ground by a blue shield symbol.
• Who’s there?: Answer the phone 3 times in the list “The Spirits of Verdansk” – Reward: Legendary Sticker (Prophecy)
  • Tip: Telephones are spread out on the map, listening carefully to locate them. After that you just have to answer it. The phones spawn in different locations and are random. There are enough of them though, so don’t worry.
• What are you scared of?: Experienced 3 hallucinations in the list “The Spirits of Verdansk” while displaying full fear – Reward: Legendary talisman (tentacle)
  • Tip: You could increase your fear meter by doing the following – Interacting with active phones, when taking damage, when you camp, when you see dead enemies or ghosts when your teammates are killed.

After you have completed all 9 tasks, you will receive the new LAPA submachine gun as a reward. You will also receive additional XP for each completed task.
