The Unicode Consortium is a non-profit organization whose mission is to give each character a unique name and code. He also takes care of coding the new emojis that are requested by form on their website. Each year, the consortium selects new emoticons and works to make them compatible with a slew of software and online platforms. This year, the Unicode Consortium announced the arrival of the 31 new emojis that will be deployed during the Unicode 15.0 update. There’s something for everyone, even if there aren’t that many in the end.

We will therefore find, among other things, pink, blue and gray hearts as well as a hand that grows to the right or to the left. The fauna will grow by welcoming a moose, a donkey, a black bird, a jellyfish or even a goose. The flora will see a hyacinth, a ginger root and a pea pod grow. This update will be available between October and December of this year in Google applications. We will have to wait until January 2023 at the earliest to see them on other platforms such as Facebook, Twitter or even the Apple OS. This gives us time to prepare a message that will allow us to use the “moose” emoji, which is not easy, or “donkey” which will be easier.
