Twitter on iOS prevents tweets from disappearing while you read them
Twitter this week announced changes to its iOS app. The social network will now avoid scenarios where the tweets disappear while you are reading them.
Change for updating tweets on iOS
“We made a few updates on iOS to prevent tweets from disappearing in the middle of reading. Now when you stop scrolling your timeline to look at a tweet, the tweet should stay in place! “, indicates Twitter in a message.
We’ve made some updates on iOS to prevent Tweets from disappearing mid-read. Now when you pause your timeline scrolling to look at a Tweet, it should stay put!

This change from Twitter to iOS follows a similar change made on the web version of the social network. This took place last week.
In September, the company said it would offer updates to change the way the platform displays tweets so that they don’t disappear in the middle of reading. These updates are now available on the web and on iOS. Twitter says it is also working on changing the display of disappearing tweets on Android, but it is not known when that will be available.
We’re working on changing this experience on Android too.
