Truckmeister is the Flitsmeister app for truck drivers (Exclusive)
Flitsmeister launches an app especially for truck drivers: Truckmeister. This app contains the same functions as Flitsmeister, only adapted for convenience in the truck.
Truckmeister for truck drivers
Flitsmeister has developed Truckmeister based on the need within the Flitsmeister community. Truck drivers have a different experience on the road than car drivers, and the new app offers a solution for that. Drivers can use the following options in Truckmeister, among others:
- A special truck navigation
- Custom Speed Limits
- Add vehicle dimensions and weight
- Add multiple vehicle profiles (trucks) when driving multiple trucks
- Navigate to truck parking spaces and get information about available facilities and number of available spaces
- Buttons and texts have been enlarged for clarity at a glance
- Warnings for speed cameras, accidents, traffic jams and stationary vehicles

Flitsmeister informs Androidworld that it is also possible to add a company or client in the app: “The client can follow the journey live and send messages to the driver. The road safety of the drivers has been considered here and the messages are therefore read aloud. You can then easily respond to the audio message with predefined answers.”

Flitsmeister plans to expand Truckmeister in the future with more capabilities, including smart traffic lights. Truckers are then given priority via the app, which saves emissions. In addition, the driver does not have to cover a long braking distance at a traffic light last minute. In the future, Truckmeister may also allow drivers to drive faster through a barrier by means of a facial scan or a virtual tachograph so that speeds and distances are tracked.
