The Uncharted film adaptation, starring Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg, hits theaters today. The PlayStation blockbuster hasn’t got off to the best start, though – critics have been less than enthusiastic about the film.

The first international reviews are now online, but the ratings table on Rotten Tomatoes unfortunately does not bode well for the project with Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg.

Uncharted on Rotten Tomatoes: Critics slam the film adaptation

The film adaptation of the PlayStation blockbuster franchise Uncharted has after the first reviews an uninspiring rating of just 53 percent on Rotten Tomatoes – and thus moves in the same region as last year’s Marvel flop The Eternals. Uncharted gets a mediocre rating of 2 to 4 out of 5 from most critics and leaves especially in terms of characters and structure leaves a lot to be desired, while some scenes seem copied from better films. (Source: Rotten Tomatoes)
