TikTok now lets you share 10-minute videos

Once again, the maximum length of a video on the video platform TikTok has been extended. If it only lasts 15 seconds in the beginning, now a movie can last ten minutes.

Video platform TikTok is a popular app among a wide group of users. However, there is a lot of competition with video apps. Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat and TikTok itself are some examples of this. To compete with the competition, the maximum length of how long a video can last is further extended. In the beginning, a video was only allowed to last 15 seconds, more than six months ago this was stretched from 1 to 3 minutes. Now it’s time for the next step.

A video on TikTok can now last 10 minutes. The platform says it wants to offer users more options in this way. The improvement will now be rolled out to all users.
