This is what the Gmail app looks like in Android 12; with Material You

We are getting closer to the final release of Android 12. Now we get a picture of the Gmail app under Android 12, which features the Material You design. What can we expect?

Gmail in Android 12

One of the big new features in Android 12 is the Material You design. This interface is themed, with the colors of the background flowing into the rest of the theme. Colors of apps change and we see that reflected in the various apps that support Material You from Android 12.

We also see this in the Gmail app, which we now get a picture of thanks to colleagues from Android Police. The app is completely adjusted in the new colors, which come back from the background. Not only menus are modified in the color styles; the side menu, search bar and other parts in the app are also provided with the dynamic themes. Some icons are matched with a darker color to stand out more.
