The Mac Studio is Apple’s latest technological flagship when it comes to computers. You can go all out with a personal configuration. Costs you thousands of euros, but then you also have something. However, you may not be one hundred percent satisfied with the final computer. You may want even more. There is good news. Apparently that’s possible. And Apple didn’t say that.
That discovery comes from Max Tech on YouTube. The YouTube channel took the Mac Studio apart and saw that something interesting was going on with the SSD. There are two SSD ports on board the computer, which means that expanding the Mac Studio with even more storage is possible.
The Mac Studio can be configured with up to 8 TB of storage. If you want to further expand the storage afterwards, you can. It does not require, according to the YouTube channel rocket science, so Apple hasn’t made it impossible to indeed add more storage itself. Good news for the handy harry’s among us who want to get even more out of their Mac Studio. And it’s nice that Apple gives that freedom.
