This is the top 3 most popular Android phones in the Netherlands
The Samsung Galaxy A12 is the most popular Android smartphone of the moment worldwide. He precedes two other Samsung devices. Samsung also has the largest market share among Android manufacturers.
Samsung Galaxy A12
If you currently take out a random user with an Android smartphone, the most likely is that he is carrying a Samsung Galaxy A12. This budget model from Samsung is most common worldwide in the month of November of 2022, according to figures from the well-known application store AppBrain.
The Samsung Galaxy A12 represents a market share of 2.1%. That is considerably higher than the second and third most popular phones: the Galaxy A21s and A10s, each with a share of 1%. The figures are different in the Netherlands and Belgium. In the Netherlands, the Samsung Galaxy A52s is the most popular phone, followed by the S21 and the A51. In Belgium, the Galaxy A52s is also the most common, followed by the A51 and A12.
Not surprisingly, of all the Android phones in circulation today, most of them were made by Samsung. Samsung has a global market share of 34.6%, followed by Xiaomi (14.3%), OPPO (10.3%), Vivo (9.8%) and Huawei (6.7%).
And what about the Galaxy A13?
It is not surprising that the Samsung Galaxy A12 is able to convince so many people, because in May of this year we wrote that it was the most sold Android phone worldwide at the time. It also sold the most in the whole of 2021 and the review of this device was also the best read on Androidworld.
The question is whether the Samsung Galaxy A13, its successor, can match that success. My colleague Jelle tested it extensively and he was cautiously positive about the device. Do you also have a Galaxy A52s or a Galaxy A12 in your pocket? Let us know in the comments.
