“This is the Motorola Edge 40 in several beautiful colors”
The Motorola Edge 40 Pro was recently announced, but the Edge 40 is also coming. This is evident from surfaced footage showing this smartphone in different colors and designs.

The successor to the Moto Edge 30 managed to stay under the radar for a long time, until today. A freighter full of rumors has arrived and it contains not only images of the Moto Edge 40 but also specifications. It’s tech journalist Roland Quandt in the picture on Twitter shares. The variant in the color ‘Viva Magenta’ is particularly striking, but we also see the colors Nebula Green, Lunar Blue and Eclipse Black. What is also striking are the so-called ‘Vegan Leather’ versions that resemble a leather finish.
Motorola Edge 40 specifications
The possible specifications that the rumors are talking about can be found below. Like the Edge 40 Pro, the Edge 40 would also receive an IP68 certification, as well as the high 144 Hz refresh rate and a so-called sand-blasted aluminum frame that ends in rounded screen edges. The 2 MP camera has also disappeared on this device and we see the MediaTek Dimensity 8020 as the driving force.
