1. Books gets a subtle update
Apple’s Books app is getting an update in the iOS 16.4 beta. It is not a major update, Apple brings the effect of turning pages back to the app with the update. This animation was removed in iOS 16, but Apple is now bringing the effect back. This way you have the feeling that you are reading a real book in the Books app.
2. More hints to Apple Music Classical
We’ve been waiting for years for Apple Music Classical, the classic version of Apple Music. It’s been over a year since Apple bought the Primephonic classical music service, but Apple Music Classical still hasn’t launched. Apple’s classical music service was expected in 2022, but that turned out to be unfeasible for the company.

Apple is therefore working on the music service and it will probably not be long before the service is launched. It’s possible that iOS 16.4 will unveil Apple’s classical music service.
3. Better overview of AppleCare
Finally, in the beta of iOS 16.4 you get a better overview of AppleCare, Apple’s own insurance service. From the new iOS version, you will see a comprehensive overview of all insurance policies you have taken out with Apple. This way you can see exactly which insurance is about to expire and which device still needs to be insured.
To complete the insurance overview, Apple even adds appropriate icons to all devices in the second beta version. This way you can see not only the name of the device, but also the corresponding icon which device it concerns. Want to know more about AppleCare?
