The Eurovision Song Contest is back in full swing. We tell you where you can watch the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 and what the best apps are!

Eurovision Song Contest 2023

The first semifinal of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 will be broadcast tonight. Mia Nicolai and Dion Cooper represent the Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song ‘Burning Daylight’. Just like last year, there will be two semi-finals first, followed by the grand final on Saturday. This is when the broadcasts can be seen:

  • Tuesday, May 9, 2023: first semi-final at 9 p.m
  • Thursday, May 11, 2023: second semi-final at 9 p.m
  • Saturday, May 13, 2023: final at 9 p.m

Of the 31 countries participating in the semifinals, only 20 countries will advance to the grand final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 on Saturday. The Netherlands is in the first semi-final. This is the full format of the two semi-finals:

The most complete app to follow the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 is of course the official app of the event itself. In Eurovision Song Contest you will find all video clips, participants and background information from this year. 2. NPO (free)

The only thing missing from the Eurovision Song Contest app is watching the broadcasts live. Don’t want to miss a moment of the two semi-finals and the final? Then you have to go to another app. In the Netherlands, the easiest way to watch Eurovision is via the free NPO app. The Eurovision Song Contest 2023 can then be watched completely free of charge and live or can be viewed later!

3. Eurovision Song Contest (free)

A function that is also missing in the official app of the Eurovision Song Contest: self-assessment of the performances. In the official app it is possible to make a top ten, but that’s it. Fortunately, we have the Dutch Eurovision Song Contest 2023 app, which makes this possible.

In the app you can rate the live performances while watching the Eurovision Song Contest. And a nice feature: the scores can then be shared with your friends.
