Disney Plus last increased its prices on February 23, 2021. Since then, the monthly cancellable subscription has cost two euros more per month. For the annual subscription, the prices rose again by 20 euros per year. Unlike some of its competitors, Disney Plus does not offer a trial subscription.
Disney Plus costs: How much is a Disney Plus subscription?
Unlike Netflix and WOW, Disney Plus only has one subscription that includes all content. However, there have been rumors for some time that the company wants to introduce a probably cheaper subscription with advertising in the near future.
Such a model already exists in the USA. The subscription with ads costs $6.99 there instead of the regular $10.99 for the ad-free subscription. Whether Disney will expand this model to Europe and Germany is likely, but not yet confirmed.

How much does Disney Plus cost?
The current Disney Plus subscription in Germany is now available in two versions: as a monthly subscription and as an annual subscription. The technical conditions are the same. Up to seven accounts can be created on up to four devices. The maximum image quality is 4K Ultra HD.
In addition to the regular payment methods via PayPal, credit card and Klarna, Disney Plus has also been offering payment by voucher cards since April 2022. With these, a three-, six-, or twelve-month subscription can be taken out. Voucher subscriptions are not automatically renewed after they expire.

- Disney Plus monthly subscription: 8.99 euros per month.
- Disney Plus annual subscription: 89.99 per year.
Depending on the device, Disney Plus also plays the highest possible image and audio quality. The streaming service even offers the Dolby Vision standard for some titles.
Meanwhile, the Disney Plus portfolio includes numerous Marvel films and series, the entire Star Wars universe and cult series such as The Simpsons. Also: many films from Disney and documentaries from National Geographic.
