Even the richest man in the world seems to enjoy playing video games. But since Elon Musk also likes cars, he now wants to combine both. Bringing Steam to a Tesla will be possible in the near future.

Elon Musk promises Steam games on the go

A Tesla can do a little more than just get you from point A to point B quickly. It is already possible to play video games on the integrated display. A Tesla fan account on Twitter shows how games like 2048 and also Cuphead are running there. Elon Musk himself responds to the tweet and explains that much more could soon be possible.

Musk said Tesla would make big strides in integrating the Steam video game platform. A demo might to be presented next month. What exactly that means, however, is not clear. However, the Steam library could give Tesla gamers access to a variety of games. Whether these all run smoothly on the Tesla is of course another question.

Will The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 come to the Tesla?

Elon Musk’s promise of being able to play video games like The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 on the Tesla has been around for quite a while. As late as February 2022, Musk announced on Twitter that his team would now also be working on Bringing Steam games to the Tesla in general and not just selected games. But when is it even possible to gamble in the car? Tesla had to put up with criticism from traffic safety here. Drivers were able to launch games even when when the car was in motion. But that’s over now. Now Tesla owners can only gamble when the car is stationary and being charged, for example.
