The series revolves around clumsy but lovable handyman Tim Taylorwho co-hosts the home improvement show Tool Time with his assistant Al Borland.
Al suffers the most from Tim’s misadventures because, contrary to his own self-perception, Tim has two left hands and is anything but a do-it-yourself king.
At home Tims tries loving wife Jill to balance family and household. The couple have three sons: Brad, Randy and Taylor, who couldn’t be more different.
And if Tim ever needs advice, his is there mysterious neighbor Wilson with life wisdom on the spot. But viewers never get to see him in full. parts of Wilson’s face is always covered – a running gag that runs through the entire series.
