These popular apps are currently getting a major update

The Google Play Store is packed with apps that are regularly updated. We’ve highlighted four popular apps that are now getting an update with small or larger but at least very useful functions.

Rainfall radar – weather

Buienradar – Weather is one of the best weather apps for your Android phone and this app is now getting a nice update. Buienrader has refreshed the radar map with a new look-and-feel for the zoom page. You can find this zoom page by clicking on the magnifying glass in the Buienradar map. From this version onwards, Belgian users can also view the official weather warnings in the app if they are active.

Voetbal.nl

Voetbal.nl is a platform for amateur football players in the Netherlands. The website and the app are intended for players, referees, trainers and coaches, but also for parents and other fans of amateur football. You will find the game schedule, standings and results of your teams, you can follow the teams and clubs of your friends and family and much more. Thanks to an update, you can now also arrange transport with your teammates in the app.

Weatheronline

Weeronline is an app with the current weather and forecast for your location. In addition, there are the weather forecasts per hour and per day and the 14-day forecast. The app also contains an extensive rain and shower radar, an hourly sun graph, weather figures for activities such as running, photography and cycling and weather news. The latter part will receive a real live blog tile via an update. This tile will keep you informed of important weather news.

school diary

The School Diary app aims to be the alternative to well-known calendar apps like Google or Microsoft, and the developers do that by specifically addressing student needs. The app does even more than the standard things you expect from a regular agenda. You can also fill in your class schedule and the results of your tests and tasks and more. Thanks to a major update, the app gets new schedules with support for AB weeks and rotation schedules, a new design and a number of bug fixes and optimizations. For example, notifications are now delivered on time and backup and restore via Google Drive should be much faster. Support for Android 12 and 12L has also been added.
