These new things will soon make driving with Android much better

Did you know that Americans spend nearly 70 billion hours behind the wheel each year? We don’t know exactly how much that is for the Dutch and Belgians, but we can also do something about it. It is nice to have many technical options that can make that ride considerably more comfortable. Android has a lot of options and more are added all the time. These new updates come to cars with Android Auto or Google built-in.

Android Auto

Android Auto will be available in nearly 200 million cars by the end of this year. It gives you access to thousands of media, messaging, navigation, parking and charging apps, each time using your car’s screen. That saves you distraction from your phone and makes it all a lot safer.

Soon you will be able to video meetings with Microsoft Teams, Webex and Zoom without having to take your eyes off the road. How exactly it will work is unclear, but it is probably not possible while you are on the road: after all, the chance that you will look at other people with whom you are meeting is very high and that would mean that your eyes are not focused on the road.
