These new emojis are coming to your iPhone with iOS 16.4

iOS 16.4 brings a whole bunch of new emojis to your iPhone. As a result, you no longer have to call anyone a donkey in full – there will soon be an emoji for that.

Read on after the ad.

New Emojis iOS 16.4

We see them appear every year: new emojis to expand the already extensive range even further. Although it was quiet for a while. There were no new variants in iOS 16 at all, and the latest additions were even all the way back in March last year with iOS 15.4.

So it’s high time for an addition – and it’s coming now. In the first beta of iOS 16.4, a lot of new emojis can be found. It is striking that you can use a large part of it to call someone names: think, for example, of ‘stupid goose’, ‘donkey’ or ‘jellyfish’. Always fun.

New Emojis: When?

You’ll be able to use the new emojis when iOS 16.4 comes out (and your friends have updated too). The new emojis will also be found in iPadOS 16.4 and macOS Ventura 13.3.

When all these updates will be released exactly, however, is still difficult to say. Since only the first beta has been released so far, this may take a while. Last year, iOS 15.4 was released in mid-March – we therefore expect iOS 16.4 around that time.
