Samsung is currently working hard to complete the update to Android 14 and One UI 6.0 for all kinds of smartphones and tablets. After the update to the new Android version, however, this is the end for some models. Android 15 will then no longer be available.

These Samsung devices will no longer receive Android 15

Although since the Galaxy S21 actually a five-year update guarantee for new smartphones and tablets applies, there were a few ideas shortly afterwards that are not covered by it, because it initially only applied to flagship devices and was later expanded. It is now clear which smartphones and tablets are affected and will no longer receive an update to Android 15 after the update to Android 14 and One UI 6.0 (source: SamMobile).

These Samsung devices will no longer receive Android 15:

  • Samsung Galaxy A52
  • Samsung Galaxy A52s
  • Samsung Galaxy A52 5G
  • Samsung Galaxy A72
  • Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE

For all of the Samsung devices mentioned, the manufacturer still had in 2021 for the middle class promised three new Android versions as an upgrade and fulfills this with the update to Android 14 and One UI 6.0. The Samsung devices were released with Android 11 and have already received two updates with Android 12 and Android 13. So Android 14 will be the last stop.

If you own a Samsung smartphone, you can easily improve it:

Android 14 for many Samsung devices at the same time

Even if this is bad news for all owners of the aforementioned Galaxy devices, there are also positive rumors to report. Allegedly, all smartphones and tablets that are still supported should receive the Android 14 update with One UI 6.0 at the same time. Accordingly, there would not be an Android 14 update for the Galaxy S23 smartphones first and a few months later for the middle class, but for all models almost at the same time.

We’ll have to wait and see if that really fits. However, it is clear that Samsung is working in the background on the update to Android 14 for all Samsung devices that are still supported, even if they are not part of the beta test. We will inform you when the first updates are distributed.
