A total of two new Macs and a new MacBook Air are coming. This MacBook Air 2023 has grown considerably and now comes in a 15-inch jacket. The Mac Studio has been upgraded and… there’s a new Mac Pro.

MacBook Air 2023 – now in 15 inches

The first thing you notice about the new MacBook Air is the screen, because it has become a lot bigger. The MacBook Air 2023 is now available in 15.3 inches (the previous MacBook Air 2022 was available in 13.6 inches).

Of course, more has changed with the new Apple laptop, because at 11.5 mm it is the thinnest 15-inch laptop ever. It is also equipped with MagSafe charging, the screen edges are only 5 mm and the MacBook Air 2023 has a brightness of 500 nits.

In addition, you can count on a 1080p camera and six speakers with Spatial Audio. The MacBook Air 2023 is available in four different colors: midnight, starlight, space gray and silver.

You can order the 15.3-inch MacBook Air starting today for $1,599. It will be available everywhere on Tuesday, June 13. You can now buy the 13-inch MacBook Air with M2 chip from € 1299 (€ 220 cheaper).

Mac Studio 2023 with a chip upgrade

The new Mac Studio 2023 has received a major chip upgrade. You can choose from an M2 Max or M2 Ultra chip. The previous Mac Studio has an M1 Max (or Ultra) chip.

The Mac Studio with M2 Ultra supports up to six Pro Display XDRs. In addition, it has Wifi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 support. On the back, the Mac Studio has four Thunderbolt 4 ports, a 10Gb Ethernet port, an improved HDMI port, and two USB-A ports. If you look at the front, you will see two USB C ports and a slot for SD cards.

The faster M2 Max and M2 Ultra chip is the only real change from the first version of the Mac Studio. The new Mac Studio 2023 is available from around 2429 euros. If you want extra options, you quickly go towards the 4000.

Mac Pro 2023: Apple’s most powerful Mac yet

As a final surprise, Apple had a new Mac Pro 2023 in store. This is Apple’s fastest Mac ever (so far). It has two M2 Max chips that are combined with a total of 24 cores. This makes the chip about twenty percent faster than the current M1 Ultra, according to Apple.

The Mac Pro has two HDMI connectors, three USB-A ports, and eight Thunderbolt 4 ports, supporting up to six Pro Display XDR monitors. The Mac Pro also has support for WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4.

The new Mac Pro is available as a tower or rack case. You can order both the Mac Studio 2023 and the Mac Pro 2023 starting today or buy it starting June 13.
