We spend around a third of our lives at work. Chronic dissatisfaction at work can make you sick in the long run. But which aspects are among the most common reasons for employees to quit?

Reasons for dismissal that lead to a job change

As an HR platform, the software company softgarden very familiar with the topic of changing jobs. As part of a recent study, the company also surveyed over 2,100 applicants between May and June 2022.

The aim was to find out which reasons for termination motivate a job change. The following ranking will present the results.

9th place: Corona management

The COVID-19 pandemic has presented many companies with huge challenges. The debate about how to deal with the virus correctly has not only strained politics and society, but also many employers. 15.4 percent of the employees surveyed stated that they found the handling of Covid19 management to be insufficient and therefore resigned.
