The best e-bikes: a comparison of ten electric bikes

The Stiftung Warentest therefore analyzed 20 e-bikes in terms of ride quality, handling, pollutants, safety and drive. Among the ten best e-bikes are nine models with a mid-engine and one model with a front engine. In the following ranking we present you the results.

10th place: Zundapp Z517

The Z517 e-bike is available for an average of 1,100 euros. According to Stiftung Warentest, the ride quality and handling are the most convincing features of this electric bike. The quality rating is overall 3.4 points. The price for a replacement battery is around 350 euros.
