What changes will the MIUI 12.5 superstructure bring?

MIUI 12.5 brings improved performance, better work with notifications, but also with a connected Windows computer. In addition, the load on the hardware MIUI has been reduced. Specifically, it is a matter of reducing the number of pre-installed Xiaomi applications to nine. Of course, Google applications were not counted.

MIUI 12.5

Xiaomi also dug the entire MIUI superstructure from scratch and reduced its load. MIUI 12.5 thus uses up to 20% less memory, has 25% lower battery consumption and the load on background applications has dropped by 35%. The privacy area will not be forgotten either, it will allow better management of application permissions and it will not store passwords or other sensitive information.

The new version of MIUI 12.5 will also receive one new Super Background with the highest peak from Mount of Four Sisters, located in Sichuan, China. It will adapt to your time and weather. More similar possibilities are to be added to the system, for example, four types of tones that will come from different corners of the Earth.

How is the competition?

There is also competition in the updates of their smartphones. The Japanese company Sony started this week to distribute the update to the Android 11 system for the Sony Xperia 1 and Xperia 5 smartphones. The South Korean giant Samsung recently launched the update of the Galaxy S10 models to the Android 11 with the extension One UI 3.0. OnePlus has updated the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro models. They received the OxygenOS 11 built on the Android 11 system. Huawei again brought the EMUI 11 superstructure to the Huawei P40, P40 Pro and Mate 30 Pro models.
