‘These are my kids’ favorite Nintendo Switch games’
A Nintendo Switch had been on Elin (8) and Mats (6)’ wish list for a long time. Not exactly cheap, but by turning it into a joint savings project – and some sponsorship from us – they finally made it. The piggy banks were put together, old toys were sold and they did odd jobs for small amounts. We taught the children this way: saving with a goal is fun. Do you have a Nintendo Switch or do you want to buy one? Then I have some tips for you.

First of all, don’t forget the extra controllers. Because how nice is it that the whole family can participate? The Switch is also ideal to take with you to a friend. Therefore, make sure you have a good protective cover or case. Furthermore, the games below are a hit at our home.
Mario Kart
This is the family favourite. We can’t get enough of racing against each other. Just choosing the right doll – hello golden Mario – with the accompanying kart is a party. The worlds are fantastically beautiful and you really play it together.

Mario Party
This game is at the top of my kids wish list. And I get it. The game consists of 80 minigames. It is accessible, which makes it fun for friends who are not yet very experienced with the Switch.

Balan Wonderworld
Watch your eyes out and feed your ears in this super beautiful game made in collaboration with visual artists and composers. Too beautiful to leave to your children alone. Run through maze-like worlds with too sweet woolly critters in tow. The final goal? Restore the heart of tormented souls.

Just Dance
How wonderful is it that your children play and move at the same time? Just Dance is not only a hit with Elin, Mats also likes to dance along. And sometimes I ‘play’ it when putting the kids to bed as a kind of workout.
I want to dance
ring fit
With the ringfit and the game Ring Fit Adventure you can only really work out with the switch. You use your whole body to control the game. You can even choose which muscle groups you want to train.

And one last gift tip for someone with a Switch: a gift card. Buying a game is often a significant investment, so in this way you help a child along the way.
