The samurai event Trek to Yomi is commemorated with a new trailer -apkrig
The title Trek to Yomi is not new, Devolver Digital announced it some time ago. But now he is reminded again with a nice trailer, which in itself is a good reason to refresh the game. The samurai adventure is being developed by Leonard Menchari, who previously signed the visually imaginative “fake remaster” The Eternal Castle, and the Polish studio Flying Wild Hog (Hard Reset, Shadow Warrior, Evil West).
Another digital Kurosawa
The Gameplay trailer attracts to a film event that targets the PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series and will be released next spring. Patience and timing will play a key role in the fight, the authors say. You must use the enemy’s force against him to throw him off balance and strike a deadly blow. We will face a lot of opponents and travel through a beautiful environment, the publisher attracts. And at least from the trailer, the scenery looks really nice.
The young samurai Hiroki has made a promise to his dying master and must protect the city and the people he loves. The authors promise stylization and a camera that pays homage to classic samurai films. But also a fluid combat system in which we stand not only against humans but also supernatural beings. An atmospheric soundtrack should also be an integral part of the whole experience.
Of course, it is not possible to ignore the similarity with the hit Ghost of Tsushima, but of course this is not the first samurai game of its kind and has no “patent” on this topic. In addition, Trek bet Yomi exclusively on black and white aesthetics and 2.5D form. The fact that it is not a fully open adventure, however, does not make the result any less visually imaginative. Maybe just the opposite.
