The Samsung Galaxy S10 series has received a June security update

Added on 6/29/2021: The availability of the update with the June security patches was confirmed in Slovakia on June 8, 2021. It concerned models intended for direct Slovak distribution. The latest update in our region is also available for other devices from free distribution. The reader Dalibor pointed this out. In each case, the contents of both update packages are identical.

The Samsung Galaxy S10 smartphone series consists of the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 Plus and Galaxy S10e models. For the whole trio, an update is now coming in at one moment, bringing the current June security patch. It is also worth mentioning the Galaxy S10 Lite model, in the case of which we cannot say whether the update also applies to this smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy S10 model line is refreshed by the June security update

All models of the Samsung Galaxy S10 series have the Android 11 operating system installed. In the future, users of these devices will also see the Android 12. However, this is a matter for the future.

The current topic is the upcoming update with the latest June security patch. The new firmware, labeled G97xFXXSBFUE6, is already appearing for users in neighboring Poland, for example.

As is customary, in addition to security enhancements, we will also see bug fixes in the system that the user did not even need to know about. We do not have a more precise list of changes available, but this is a small update, so we would definitely not expect any news.

Although your mobile phone should notify you with a notification when an update is available, you can check it manually in the device settings, or rather in the software updates section.
