OnePlus Nord 2 leaked on clear renders; first OnePlus with MediaTek

There is news about the OnePlus Nord 2. The smartphone manufacturer will soon present its latest smartphone, and now we already have an image for you. These are renders of the new Nord 2, which were made by the well-known leaker OnLeaks. The images were made on the basis of the information known to him so far. The device seems to have a flat screen and a fairly large camera module on the back. At the top left of the screen is an opening for the front camera; a well-known spot at OnePlus.

According to the information, the OnePlus Nord 2 will have a 6.43-inch OLED screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz and Full-HD+ resolution, which is almost the same as the first-generation Nord, which came with a 6.44-inch screen. The dimensions are slightly larger than those of the first Nord; according to the source 160 x 73.8 x 8.1 millimeters. The fingerprint scanner will again be found in the screen. OnePlus will also provide the Nord 2 with an alert slider on the side.

Interestingly, OnePlus has opted for a chipset from MediaTek. The quality of chipsets has clearly improved a lot recently at MediaTek and OnePlus is no exception in the use of MediaTek processors. The OnePlus Nord 2 will reportedly get a Dimensity 1200 SoC with support for 5G. There is a maximum of 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The triple camera gets the setup of a 50MP main lens, 8MP wide angle lens and an additional 2MP lens. At the front is a 32 megapixel lens. There is also talk of a 4500 mAh battery with 30W or 65W fast charging.

OnePlus is rumored to announce the smartphone in July. In June, the brand already presented the OnePlus Nord CE 5G, an interesting smartphone with a favorable price tag.
