The Quarry: Rescue and free Jacob

Jacob is one of those characters in The Quarry that can die very easily if you are not careful or make the wrong decisions. At this point we will explain to you how you can free Jacob and save him so that he survives the night in the playable horror film.

Rescue and free Jacob

Jacob is the typical athlete character in the game who is self-absorbed and likes to show off where he can. Nevertheless, he is quite humorous, lovable and has a hopeless crush on fellow supervisor Emma.

If you want to save all characters in the game to unlock the trophies and achievements of The Quarry, you have to pay special attention to Jacob and make the right decisions. All important decisions in the individual chapters to save Jacob are listed below.

Chapter 3

When you walk half-naked through the forest with Jacob at the end of Chapter 3, make the following decisions:

1. NOT “Call”as soon as you hear strange noises around you.
2. dialogue option Select “BEGGING”.if the hunter caught you in the trap.
3. NO “throwing dirt”, if you get the chance. The hunter then douses you with blood, which can later save your life.

Chapter 4

At the beginning of Chapter 4, the group tends to Nick’s wounds around the campfire. Then they hear noises from the dark and Ryan aims the shotgun. Make the following decisions here:

1. Calls with Ryan into the forest.
2. If you get the chance to shoot, do it NOT.
3. Shortly thereafter, you will get another opportunity to shoot. Do it again here NOTHING and let the timer run out.

Jacob then reveals himself. If you should shoot, he dies at this point.

Chapter 6

At the beginning of this chapter, Jacob and Emma meet again and are attacked shortly after.

1. Complete the Quicktime event successful (direction key to the right).
2. Chooses “HIDE” out.
3. Hold down the X/A button until the red flickering at the edge of the screen stops.
4. Chooses “IRON LOOSE” off when you are in the bear trap.

You are then knocked out by one of the Hacketts. You cannot prevent this.

Chapter 8

In the course of the game you are with Ryan and Laura at the Hackett house. Here you will pass the cage with Jacob in it.

1. DO NOT open the cage with Ryan. This is under power.
2. Stop Laura with Ryanwhen she wants to shoot the monster in the cage.
3. Choose afterwards “HELP JACOB” out.
4. You now have to press the right switches so that the Cells 3 and 5 power off will and they will open. Cell 7 must stay powered, this is where the monster is.
5. Press first Switch 1 and then switch 2.
6. Jacob’s cell will now open and you must “KEEP GOING” select to continue.
7. Activate now Switch 2 and Switch 3so that the aisle door opens and Jacob can safely exit the cage.

If you make a mistake with the switch puzzle, Jacob’s fate is sealed and who will be killed by the monster in the other cage at the end of Chapter 9.
