The premiere of the film Uncharted is postponed to 2022 -apkrig
If you are eager to hope that after the release of the first photos from the film adaptation of Uncharted with Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg, we will soon see a trailer, we don’t have good news for you. Not only the players expected to have its premiere in mid-July, but the current wave of film procrastination did not wash away Uncharted until February 11, and we will have to wait 13 long months for Nathan Drake’s first big adventure. The reason for the postponement is obvious – film companies are concerned that the situation in the world and the associated opportunity to go to the cinema without restrictions will not improve, and therefore the postponement affected not only Uncharted, but also the Bond film No Time to Die or Ghostbusters: Afterlife.
The information was provided by Hollywood Reporter magazine, but it does not go into any detail, given that there is no closer statement from the filmmakers or individual actors beyond the scope of the subsequent press release. It is definitely worth mentioning that the date of the Uncharted premiere has been moved several times, and it is not only the circumstances connected with the coronavirus pandemic that have involved. Originally, we were supposed to see the film during last Christmas, but Sony reckoned with that, provided that nothing will change in the acting or production cast. However, due to Tom Holland’s busy schedule, director Travis Knight left, replaced by Ruben Fleischer, and the film was postponed to March 2021. Sony then began to calculate that the premiere needed to be postponed to October this year, but things seemed to go well and by three months for the said mid-July.
However, according to new information, this is no longer the case and, like video games, also films, resp. the dates of their introduction now mean no certainty. Therefore, we can only add that Uncharted will not be an adaptation of any released part of the Naughty Dog series and that in the story we will follow the birth of Nathan Drake as the players know him. And, of course, not only in terms of character, but also in terms of appearance, which was also praised by Nathan’s drummer from Nolan North games. Mark Wahlberg also appears in the film as Nathan’s mentor Sully, and Antonio Banderas also got his role. However, Sony is anxiously hiding the details of the plot, although forgotten artifacts and probably Nathan’s connection with Sir Francis Drake will undoubtedly play a major role.
