iOS 15 will likely be announced in June at WWDC, Apple’s annual app developer conference. The company therefore always announces which iPhones can expect the new update. The new software will then be available by the end of the year, when the new iPhones are also released.

End is approaching for iPhone SE and iPhone 6S

The iPhone SE and iPhone 6S (Plus) are no longer the youngest. The former was released in 2016, the 6S was released a year earlier. All three devices have an A9 chip.
