The popular Duolingo has announced new features and family subscriptions
The developers, quite possibly the most popular language learning application, Duolingo announced at the annual Duocon conference right away some interesting news. They cover both the content of the mobile tool and learning methods, as well as the prices of a premium subscription. For example, the so-called Duolingo Plus, a paid version with several benefits, such as removing ads, practicing bugs or quizzes, will also available for whole families. Family subscriptions can be used by up to six users for $ 120 (approximately CZK 2,600) per year.

As for the teaching itself, for example, those interested in languages that do not use Latin for writing. These are, for example, Russian, Arabic, Japanese or Korean. In addition to reading whole words or expressions, the application will also offer a new one playful quiz with writing / drawing. In addition to improving features for existing languages, there will also be some brand new ones. There will be five Tagalog, Zulu, Xhosa, Maori and Haitian Creole.

The “Mistake Inbox” function will also appear with a database of all errors created for further practice, and “Legendary Level” as the most difficult level of testing in all of Duolingo.
