The PC version of God of War is made by a foreign Canadian studio -apkrig

The authors of the God of War PC port might surprise you. You might think that such a project will be in charge of the Dutch company Nixxes Software, which specializes in ports and conversions, which Sony bought this July. Or perhaps the original developers from Santa Monica Studio? No, neither variant is correct.

The PC version is created in the Canadian studio Jetpack Interactive under the supervision of the Santa Monica team. This was confirmed by a representative of Sony to Ars Technica magazine. Jetpack Interactive also specializes in ports and is headquartered in Vancouver. However, they have not yet participated in previous transfers of exclusive PlayStation games to Windows.

Jetpack employees used to help with Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2, Dark Souls for PC or NBA Live titles. The studio is proud that their clients include EA, Bandai Namco or Amazon Game Studios. Video Games Chronicle noticed that one of the Jetpack Interactive programmers was also featured in God of War Ragnarök.

In this context, it is worth noting that the alleged leaks of other possible ports are returning like a boomerang. The most commonly talked about are Ghost of Tsushima and The Last of Us. However, the “evidence” is still quite inconclusive, despite the fact that the very intention of converting these games to Windows would make sense.
